Surrender Your Life
To surrender your life to the Lord is the first step of faithsizing — an act of intentional obedience where you put what goes first, first. And while choosing for yourselves whom you will serve may be a one-time decision, you must support it with daily, consistent effort.
"… choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve … But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 (NKJV)
Because even though I know God placed an unquenchable void in me that He alone can fill, I still play the card of the foolish and look for substitutes.
In your prayer journal intercession, you may find a "secret" letter to God that you had tucked away - one that speaks to the deeper truths in your heart.
Ask yourself this: "In your own life, what do you need to leave behind to Jesus' healing touch in order to step forward in bold faith?
Tend to the emotional time bombs that build up in your heart. When you don't, they can detonate and can destroy your joy, causing you to hurt others.
Grab hold of the One who gives you all the strength so you can turn your “I could never… “ into an “I will always.”
